Original cookies for Halloween
It is an ideal recipe to prepare with the little ones, the older ones will take care of baking the cookies. The cones this time have been bought to make the recipe easier.
- 4 ice cream cones
- 4 cookies
- 4 green tongues (sweets)
- dark chocolate to melt
We melt dark chocolate in a bain-marie, or in the microwave very carefully so that it does not burn, stirring every few seconds.
With a knife we cover the base of the cookies with chocolate, and fill the cones with sweets. We put the chocolate biscuit together with the cone that is already filled with sweets and finally we pour the melted chocolate on each witch’s hat.
We decorate with a green tongue (sweets), to make the ornament of our witch’s hat. We take it to the fridge until the chocolate hardens, once ready we can only enjoy. Check out more recipes on at Pet Pooja.

- 100g sugar
- 200g flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 200g chips de chocolate
- 120g pastry cream or white hazelnut cream
- Miniature sugar clouds
- sliced almonds
Preheat the oven to 190ºC heat up and down.
In a bowl add the softened butter and sugar, and with a spatula we integrate the two ingredients well. Add the slightly beaten eggs and the vanilla, mix well until you get a smooth dough without lumps. Add the sifted flour and yeast, mix, a little salt, continue mixing. The texture of the dough is somewhat sticky, finally we add the chocolate chips, and with the spatula we mix well.
We prepare the oven tray with baking paper, form small balls of the size that we like the most, flatten slightly with our hands and arrange them on the tray, as the dough is sticky it will be helpful to previously grease your hands with a little oil sunflower. Keep in mind that the cookies tend to expand so you must leave a gap between them.
Bake for 8 minutes, at 190º, heat up and down. Once the time has elapsed, remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack.
Add red coloring to the pastry cream once it is almost cold, mix well until you get the desired shade, if you choose to use white hazelnut cream, do the same.
Once cold, cut each biscuit in half, spread each biscuit half with the pastry cream dyed red or the white hazelnut cream dyed red.

Easy Halloween Appetizers
To make a super fun Halloween appetizer we can wrap some delicious homemade meatballs and sausages with strips of puff pastry. Then we put them in the oven at 180 ° C until the dough is golden, about 10-15 minutes. We complete by putting some circles of black olives to make the eyes of the mummy, and some circles of cheese to make the pupil of the eye-meatballs.
Brooms have never been so delicious! To make the broomsticks we can use pretzel sticks, beef jerky or grissini. On the other hand, the straw part is made with slices of cheese cut into strips, which we will wrap around the stick and hold with another wider strip of cheese.
What do you think if we turn the plate of spaghetti and meatballs into a nest of terrifying spiders? We just have to make the meatballs large and slightly flattened, and then decorate them with mayonnaise and black olives for the eyes, and pretzel sticks for the legs
What do we need for pumpkin cream to become a terrifying dish? Just draw a bechamel sauce spider web on top .
