Baby puree of lamb, vegetables and pasta

Today we bring a delicious recipe for babies : mashed lamb, vegetables and pasta . It would be advisable to introduce this recipe from 9 months , since, although gluten can be introduced earlier through pasta, lamb meat is fattier than white meat, so it is advisable to delay it a bit and eliminate fat when cooking. In this article on the introduction of meat in babies you will find all the necessary information.

There is some controversy when it comes to introducing gluten into the complementary feeding calendar , since before many pediatricians recommended that it be delayed until 8 or 9 months, but now, the new recommendations of the Esphgan, the Spanish Association of Pediatrics and the AEDN advise that by around 7 months (and not much later) small amounts of gluten-containing grains have appeared in the baby’s diet.

Regarding the pasta, do not forget to check the label of the pasta you buy, since many contain eggs or traces of eggs , you must buy the one that says 100% wheat semolina .

Baby puree of lamb, vegetables and pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 carrots
  • 1 leek
  • 1 piece of pumpkin
  • 4 lamb chops
  • 2 handfuls of pasta (stars) of 100% wheat semolina
  • Extra virgin olive oil.

Preparation of lamb puree, vegetables and pasta

Wash, peel the vegetables and chop. We put them to cook with a little water. When they take five minutes we incorporate the pasta, after 10 minutes we add the meat that we have cleaned very well of fat. When it is cooked, grind everything. Now we only have to add a little extra virgin olive oil at the time of consumption. With these amounts he has left for three meals.

If you do it in the Thermomix we put the vegetables, chop at speed 5 for a few seconds, add a little water and program 18 minutes at 100º spoon speed, when the first five minutes have passed we put the pasta through the mouth and when there are five left we do the Same with meat. When finished we crush at maximum power.

By the way, I no longer grind his food as fine as at the beginning, so little by little he gets used to other textures.
