Today we suggest you prepare a puree of chickpeas for babies . The stew is a very common dish in Spanish houses, which we can also take advantage of to make other preparations such as stew croquettes or soup.
At home I prepare a very light stew in the pressure cooker, in which I put cooked chickpeas (see how to cook chickpeas ), to which I add chicken breast, green beans, carrots, leeks and potatoes, which the whole family eats .
For the little one I prepare a puree of chickpeas, which is one of the ones he likes the most and I am so happy because legumes , in this case chickpeas , contain a lot of fiber and are very important in a child’s diet. Also accompanied by vegetables and chicken breast make it a very complete puree for babies .In the first purees for babies , which can be started from 9-10 months, it is better to remove the skin, and you already know that, as with any food that you introduce, you have to watch for allergic reactions.
We will use all the ingredients already cooked from the stew.
- 1 handful of chickpeas (I remove the skin)
- 1 carrot
- 1 potato
- Green beans
- Chicken breast
- broth of the stew
Preparation of chickpea puree
We put all the ingredients in the blender glass, add a little broth and blend well. Now we only have to add a good splash of extra virgin olive oil just at the moment of serving.
