Mashed rice with chicken and vegetables for babies
2 min read
Today we are going to prepare a potito or mashed rice with chicken and vegetables, which our babies will surely love.
Rice is a cereal that we can introduce into the diet of our babies from the age of six months as it does not contain gluten, it is not allergenic and it is very easy to digest. It contains potassium, it has no sodium, its fat content is very low, and it is a source of energy since it contains a lot of starch.
It is a staple food for much of the world’s population. In a balanced diet, we should take it several times a week, and since it is low in nutrients, it is good to combine it, as in this case, with pureed vegetables and chicken .
As always, the ingredients are indicative, you can add or remove what you want, depending on the age of your baby and the instructions of your pediatrician.
