Homemade pizzas have nothing to do with commercial ones, really. If you have never been encouraged because they seem difficult, let me tell you that not at all. Making a pizza is almost, almost letting the whole oven do it.

And the result… what can I tell you about the result! I do not change it for any other, because it is delicious, because I have made it myself and because I love when I get to the table to hear those little noises of mmm, mmm…

- 150g water
- 50g extra virgin olive oil
- 15g fresh yeast
- 280g strong flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- 3 cans of sardines
- 1/2 onion
- Fried tomato
- Emmental cheese
How to prepare a sardine pizza
Preheat the oven to 180º, heat up and down.
In a bowl add the water, oil and fresh yeast. We undo the fresh yeast in the liquids.
Add the flour little by little and mix with a spoon. Then add a pinch of salt. There will come a time when you will not be able to continue mixing with the spoon, it will be your turn to pass the dough to the table (previously sprinkle a little flour, to prevent the dough from sticking) and give the dough a good slap (knead), to that there are no lumps and the dough becomes smooth and elastic.
Once we have achieved a smooth, lump-free dough, transfer the dough to a bowl (brush with oil), cover with a kitchen towel and let it rest until it doubles in volume (approximately 1 hour).
After the time, we prepare the tray with baking paper. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
Chop the onion and fry it in olive oil. With kitchen paper remove excess oil. We booked.
Cut the sardines into small pieces.
We spread 4 tablespoons of fried tomato on the pizza dough. Next we place the onion and finally, the chopped sardines. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
And we take it to the oven at 180º for 35-40 minutes.
