2 min readDo you like meatballs ? What if I tell you that they are some delicious spinach meatballs ? Surely if you don’t like vegetables, you wo n’t even want to try them, but you don’t know what you’re missing: they’re tasty, juicy and with tomato sauce and rice they make an exquisite combination.
The truth is that spinach is one of my favorite vegetables . I don’t know how or when but one day I tried them and I started to like them a lot. It must be said: I’m not much of a vegetable … that’s why I encourage you to try it, you might be surprised. Check out more only at Pet Pooja.
These delicious spinach meatballs are ideal for the little ones, we can play with the color so that they at least try them. Although it is true that they are not usually very happy with vegetables , with a fun game, they will surely like these meatballs!

Ingredients
- 400g mixed meat (beef-pork)
- 150g bagged spinach (already cleaned)
- 1 egg
- Bread crumbs
- Milk
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1/2 glass of vegetable broth

- Flour
- Bread crumbs
- 1 beaten egg
- Olive oil

- Ketchup
- cooked white rice
How to prepare some delicious spinach meatballs
In a bowl, put the minced meat. With a spoon stir a little. Add salt, pepper, crushed spinach (with the blender chopping accessory we give it a few touches to chop it) and egg. We put two small slices of bread (the crumb) in milk and when it absorbs the milk, we add it to the bowl and mix well.
We shape the meatballs . We pass them through flour, beaten egg and breadcrumbs, fry them and let them rest on kitchen paper to absorb the excess oil.
In a frying pan place 1/2 glass of vegetable broth and add the meatballs . Let cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook white rice and heat the tomato sauce in a saucepan.
We serve the hot tomato sauce as a base and on it, the spinach meatballs accompanied by a rich cooked rice.
