Today I propose a cream of hake with zucchini for babies , very soft for the little ones in the house.
Zucchini purée is one of the foods that babies like the most because of its mild flavor, and hake is a great fish to start them eating fish as it has a very mild flavor.
In this case I have used frozen hake fillets, skinless and boneless, so it won’t take long to prepare it. We will reserve some pieces of hake without crushing if they are already a little older so that they get used to solid food.
Cream of hake and courgette for babies
- 1 hake fillet without skin or bones
- 1 small zucchini
- 1 spring onion
- 1 glass of fish broth
- 1 tablespoon fine cornmeal
- extra virgin olive oil
Preparation of hake and courgette cream
Wash the zucchini very well, trim and cut into thin slices, do the same with the spring onion. We put both things to fry with a little oil in a pan. We add the minced hake and let it cook for a couple of minutes, we take out some pieces of hake that we reserve.
In a little broth we dissolve the fine corn flour, we add it to the zucchini and the hake together with the rest of the broth. Let it cook for a few minutes until it thickens. We crush.
We serve with a splash of extra virgin olive oil and with the pieces of hake that we had reserved. If you add a pinch of salt and a little freshly ground black pepper you will have a delicious starter for the whole family.
